Interminds is a Scottish charity supporting NGOs working for the social inclusion of people with mental health problems in countries that have less developed services and social supports. The experience and learning in Scotland is shared with similar groups elsewhere in a process of mutual learning.

InterMinds always works in association with Scottish users groups, especially Highland Users Group (HUG).

  • Highland Users’ Group


HUG is a network of people who use mental health services which campaigns to improve the rights, services and treatment of people with mental health problems and challenge stigma and discrimination.

HUG works on a local, Highland and national level to influence policy and planning and ensures that the user voice is heard clearly in the design, development and delivery of services.
